Monta ‘Ying Kai’ Yokrattanakan arrives to hear the charge of lese majeste brought against her on July 7 this year. The Criminal Court on Monday set June 6, 2017 to begin the examination of witnesses in a case against Monta "Ying Kai" Yokrattanakan, accused of lese majeste under Section 112 of the Criminal Code. After going through the lists of witnesses and evidence, the court set June 6-9 for the examination of 11 prosecution and six defence witnesses. Ms Monta has also been charged, in another case, with making false complaints against people, human trafficking and defamation. In this case, the court has set May 2 next year for the first examination of witnesses.
